Our office for Kbk-Chem Engg Pvt Ltd is over in Dharwad, specifically on the main road of Hosayallapur near the Dyamavvana Gudi temple. It is a very local spot, right in the heart of things. You can hear the sounds of the road and the temple bells sometimes while we are working. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets, desks, and a lot of engineering drawings. It is not one of those modern offices with open floor plans and bean bags. We have solid wooden desks and chairs that are built to last. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Dharwad has its own rhythm, and we are just a part of it. We spend most of our time on the chemical engineering projects, which means lots of data and checking the math. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team. It is just a handful of us working together to make sure everything is technically sound. Sometimes we walk down the street to get some snacks or just to stretch our legs. The office can get a little cluttered with all the papers and files, but we know where everything is. It is an old-fashioned way of working, maybe, but it works for us. We just keep showing up and doing the engineering work without making a big deal out of it. It's not a lot of fun but it pays the bills and keeps us out of trouble.
