Our office is located in the Shivalli Complex, up on the first floor. We are right in Bendare Nagar, close to the Sampagi Nagar bus stand in Dharwad. It’s a convenient spot for people living around here. As a Nidhi limited company, we mostly handle small savings and loans for the members. The atmosphere in the office is usually quiet unless it's the start of the month when everyone comes in at once. We’ve got a couple of small rooms where we keep the files and meet with people who want to join. The building itself is a bit older, and the stairs can be a bit steep, but it’s home for our business. We try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. Most of the staff grew up around Dharwad, so we speak the local language and understand what folks need. We aren't a big bank, just a local group doing our bit. There’s always a ledger open on the desk and someone counting cash or writing receipts. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it matters to the people who save with us. We don't have fancy furniture or shiny glass walls. It’s just wooden tables and metal cabinets filled with records. We stay busy with the daily chores of running a Nidhi, making sure every rupee is accounted for and the books match up at the end of the day.
