We are over here at M.B. Nagar in Dharwad. The office is actually in a house called Shri Giri Nivas, right by Koppa Tank. It is a pretty quiet spot for the most part. Most days start with someone opening the gate and getting the fans going because it gets a bit stuffy inside. We have been in this part of Dharwad for a while now. The address is a bit of a mouthful if you are telling someone over the phone, especially with the C/O D.B. Yallaraddiyavar part, but locals know the area well enough. There is always some construction talk happening around the desks. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there for a minute waiting for the backup to kick in. It is not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular place where we get our work done. You can see the tank area from nearby, which is nice when you need a break from looking at drawings or bills. People drop by occasionally to drop off documents. We usually have some tea around four in the afternoon. It is just the way things go here. We don't have a big sign out front that lights up or anything. It's just a functional space in a residential-feeling neighborhood. That is basically us. Nothing too complicated or polished, just people working in a house turned into an office space.
