Our group is the Association For Developing Womenaspiring Innovators Throughtransformation. It’s a very long name, so most of us just focus on the work instead of saying the whole thing every time. We are located at Plot No. 28 in UCB Nagar, which is in Dharwad. It’s a pretty quiet spot, and we like that it gives us room to think and work without too much noise. Dharwad is a great place to be because people actually know each other here. We aren't some distant organization; we are right here in the neighborhood. Our office is simple and functional. We didn't spend money on fancy furniture or decorations because that’s not what we are about. We spend our time talking to women who have good ideas but need a bit of a nudge to get going. It’s honest work, and it can be tiring, but it feels right. We aren't here to impress anyone with big reports or glossy photos. We just want to see people in 580003 do well. Sometimes we have meetings out in the yard if the weather is nice. Other times we are cramped inside around a few desks. It doesn't really matter where we sit as long as the work gets done. We’ve been part of this community for a while and we plan to stay right here on Plot 28, helping whoever we can reach.
