Annapurna Nursing Home

Annapurna Nursing Home is tucked into the Madhuban Complex in J C Nagar. We are really close to the Women’s College, so there are always students walking past the building. It’s a 580020 area code, if you’re looking it up on a map. We’ve been here for a good while, and the walls probably need a new coat of paint, but we keep everything clean and functioning. It’s a nursing home, so we have beds for people who need to stay a night or two, and we also see people who just need a quick checkup. The staff here is pretty small, and we all know each other well. We don’t have those big electronic screens in the lobby like the hospitals downtown. Instead, we have some old magazines and a water cooler that makes a loud gulping sound every now and then. Sometimes the lift in the complex is a bit slow, so taking the stairs is usually faster if you’re able. We see families from all over Hubli, mostly from J C Nagar and the surrounding spots. People come to us because we’ve been here forever and they know what to expect. It’s just a regular place where we try to look after people without making a big fuss about it. We do our best to keep things quiet for the patients who are staying with us, even though the street outside can get pretty loud during the busy day.
