Anil & Co.

Anil & Co. is based at 4/1326, Koliwad, Begumpura. This is right in the older part of Surat. The streets around here are quite narrow and they can get really crowded with two-wheelers and people walking past. Our place is tucked away in Koliwad. It’s an old building, nothing like the new malls or office blocks you see in other parts of the city. The rooms are a bit small and the ceilings aren't very high at all. We’ve got wooden desks that have been around for many years. It’s a very local atmosphere in this neighborhood. Everyone around here knows each other. We spend our days mostly handling local trade and talking to people who drop by for a chat or business. There’s no big sign outside, just the number and the address. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our old ledgers. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics to get the daily things done. The light coming through the small windows isn't great, so we keep the overhead lamps on even during the day. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we’ve managed in this space for a long time. It’s a simple operation. We aren't trying to be a big corporate firm with glass walls. We are just a local company in Begumpura doing our daily business. It’s quiet in the mornings and then gets quite hectic as the day goes.
