Tcsas 24 Hours Emergency Ambulance Services is based out of the Shelke Complex. We are right near Harimandir in the Manikilla area. Since we are open 24 hours, there is always someone awake in the office, usually drinking tea and waiting for the phone to ring. The ambulances are parked right outside where we can get to them quickly. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the parking lot sometimes, but we make it work. We handle all sorts of calls, day or night. The drivers know the back roads around Harimandir really well, which helps when the main roads are blocked up. It’s not the easiest job because you never know what the next hour will bring. We spend a lot of time cleaning the vans and checking the equipment to make sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the night shift feels very long when it’s quiet, but then everything happens at once. We are a small group of people who just wanted to provide a reliable way for people to get to the hospital. There’s no big corporate office here, just our desks and the radio.
