Our place is in Thota Tanda, which is part of the Guvvaladinne village area. We are way out in the Dharur Mandal of the Jogulamba Gadwal district. Being in a Tanda means it’s a small, close-knit community where everyone knows everyone. Our house and work area is at 3-23/4. We do a bit of everything here, mostly related to the land and local needs. It’s a long way from the main district headquarters, so we have to be somewhat self-sufficient in our daily lives. The landscape is mostly open fields and dusty paths that stretch for miles. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy offices. It’s just a practical living and working space that has grown over time. Most days involve being outdoors and checking on things under the sun. We have to travel to Gadwal if we need anything major, which takes up a good part of the day and involves a bumpy ride. The kids run around while we work, and life is fairly simple. We don't have many visitors from outside the area, mostly just people from the neighboring villages coming by. We communicate in the local language and keep things informal. There’s no rush to get things done most of the time, unless there’s a specific deadline for the crops or a local festival. We just keep moving forward with our daily routines. It’s a quiet existence and we are quite content with how things are set up here in the Tanda.
