Alam Traders

Alam Traders is situated at Post Vardi, in the Taluka of Chopoda. We are very close to the Railway Station, so we always hear the trains coming and going. It’s a constant sound that has just become part of our day. Being near the station is good for our trading business because it makes things easier to move. Vardi is a small place, and everyone pretty much knows where everything is. We don’t have a big office or a fancy sign. We just have our space where we store the goods and do our trades. Most of the day is spent talking to people, checking the quality of the items we get, and organizing the warehouse. It can get quite hot in Chopoda, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We deal with all sorts of things, whatever is in season or in demand. It is a simple operation, really. Just a few of us working together to keep the business running. We have our regulars who come by, and sometimes travelers from the station stop in to ask for directions or see what we have. It’s a practical life, working with what we have here by the tracks. The railway station is so close that we can see the passengers waiting on the platforms. It makes the day go by faster when there is so much movement nearby.
