We are located at Shop No.22, right near the vegetable market. Being so close to the market means it is always noisy and crowded outside our front door, especially in the early mornings when the vendors are setting up their stalls. You can hear the shouting and the carts rolling by all day long. Our shop is not very big, so we have to stack things pretty high to make use of the space we have. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three people are inside at the same time. We spend most of our time answering questions from folks who wander in from the market or checking our inventory to see what needs to be restocked. The floor is just plain concrete and the shelves are old wooden ones that have seen better days, but they hold everything just fine. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. People mostly come to us because they know we are here and we have what they need. Sometimes the smell of fresh onions or coriander from the market drifts in, which is better than the smell of exhaust from the delivery vans. It is a simple life running a shop in such a busy area, and we just take each customer as they come and try to stay organized.
