Vinayaga Interior

We are tucked away at No. 5 A on 2nd Street in Weavers Colony. It’s a bit of a maze getting back here if you don’t know the turns. The shop is usually covered in a bit of dust because of the work we do. We don't mind it much. Vinayaga Interior has been in this spot for a few years now. We started with just a few tools and an old workbench. Now we have a bit more space, but it still feels crowded when we have a big project going on. The neighbors on 2nd Street are mostly quiet people. You can hear the looms sometimes from the other houses. We keep our doors open when the weather allows for some air. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions or to see what we are making. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. Just the workshop and a small area where we keep the materials. We pick out the wood and other stuff ourselves. It takes time to get everything right. My brother handles some of the heavy lifting. We usually eat lunch together on the back steps. It’s not a fancy life, but we like working with our hands. We try to stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the machines running. It’s what we know.
