Venkateswara Engineering Construction

We are based in Vennampatti, which is part of the Kottampatti post in the Uthangarai taluk. The address is 2/20, right in the heart of the local village. It is a quiet place compared to the cities, but we stay busy enough with our construction work. Usually, there is some equipment parked outside and the yard is full of gravel and old metal scraps. We do a lot of small projects around the taluk. Most of the time our team is out at different sites, so the office stays empty during the daylight hours. When we are back at the base, we are usually checking some drawings or trying to fix a machine that broke down. The weather in this part of Uthangarai can be very difficult. When it rains, the yard turns into a muddy mess, making it hard to move the heavy gear. We have a small group of local workers who have been with us for a while. We don't have fancy brochures or any big signs on the road. Most people find us through the family name or just by seeing our trucks moving through the village. It is a very simple setup. We keep the ledger in a desk drawer and answer the phone whenever someone calls. Some days start very early so we can get work done before the heat becomes unbearable. It’s mostly physical labor and being outdoors. We’ve lived in Vennampatti for years and just take things one day at a time.
