Sri Raghavendra Printers

You can find us at 12/2, Second Cross, in Thillai Nagar. Sri Raghavendra Printers has been in this little corner for a good while. The shop is basically one long room filled with paper, ink, and the machines we use every day. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the door open to get a bit of a breeze from the street. Thillai Nagar is a busy area, but our little cross street stays relatively quiet. We handle all sorts of odd jobs. Sometimes it’s just one page someone needs for a form, other times it’s a whole stack of flyers for a shop nearby. We don’t have any fancy assistants or anything, just a couple of us who know how to work the equipment. The floor is concrete and usually has a few ink spots we couldn't quite get up. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, mostly packed with paper we’ve collected over the months. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be finished. We don’t do much in the way of advertising; people mostly just know we are here on Second Cross. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time making sure the colors aren't running and that the edges are cut straight. It is just a normal part of the neighborhood where we try to keep things moving along steadily.
