Sri Gnanasuriyan Chits Private Limited is based out of No.2/44 in Begarahalli Village. It’s a small place in the Karimangalam area of Dharmapuri. To get here, you have to drive through some of the local roads where things are a lot quieter than the big cities. The office is really just a part of the village life. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Usually, the day starts with us opening up and dusting off the tables. Being in a post village like Begarahalli means we see the same faces most of the time. It’s a lot of talk about the weather and the crops before we even get to the chit fund business. The room we work in is simple. We have our registers and some pens that always seem to go missing. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy because of the location, so we do a lot of things by hand still. It feels more real that way anyway. People stop by after finishing their work in the fields or on their way to the market. We sit, we settle the accounts, and we have some tea. There is no rush here. Dharmapuri can get really dry, so we appreciate the shade inside the office. It’s just a basic setup for the local people who live around this part of the village.
