Sri Ganesha Plastic Industries

Working out of No E 6 in the Sidco Industrial Estate is quite a daily grind. We are right by the Dharmapuri Collectorate, so it's a very busy part of town. At Sri Ganesha Plastic Industries, the machines are always humming and making a bit of a racket. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months in Dharmapuri. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some large industrial fans that move the air around. The walls are a bit dusty from all the production. We make all sorts of plastic items. You won't find any corporate suits here. We wear work clothes that usually end up dirty by noon. The estate is always full of trucks coming and going. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near our unit because of all the deliveries. We’ve been at this location for years and we know most of the other business owners on this block. We share tea sometimes in the afternoon when we can find a minute. It’s a practical business. We focus on getting the orders out on time rather than making things look pretty for visitors. The office part is just a small desk with a lot of papers and a computer that’s a few years old. We like the grit of the industrial estate. It feels like we are actually making something useful.
