S. K. Trading & Exports

S. K. Trading & Exports is based out in Pagalahalli, right on the Main Street in Nallampalli. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. We like it that way. Our office is right on the street, so we see everything that goes by—tractors, cows, and the local bus. It’s a simple brick building. We don’t have a lobby or a fancy sign out front. Most people around here just know us as the place that does exports. The work is mostly manual, checking the quality of the goods and getting them ready for the trucks. We don’t have computers at every desk, and we still use a lot of paper forms. It feels more real that way. Nallampalli is a small place, so news travels fast if someone is looking for us. We usually have the door open to let the breeze in, even if it brings a bit of dust from the road. Our days are tied to the seasons and the transport schedules. When a truck is coming, everyone gets moving to get things loaded. When it’s quiet, we just sit and drink coffee and talk about the weather or the local crops. It’s not a high-tech operation, just a group of us making a living on Main Street. We don’t try to be something we aren’t. It’s just a trading business in a small town.
