We are located at 15 East Street in Dharmapurai. Making matches is an old business, and we’ve been at it for a long time. It’s not a complicated process, but it requires a lot of attention to make sure everything is safe. The air always has that faint smell of chemicals and wood shavings. We have a few rows of machinery and plenty of space for drying. The staff here are mostly locals from Dharmapurai who have been doing this for years. We aren't a high-tech facility. It's more about the manual work and making sure the boxes are filled right. Sometimes the wood quality isn't great, and we have to sort through it by hand, which takes forever. Our office is just a small room at the front where we keep the ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; pen and paper still work fine for us. There’s a lot of dust from the wood, and we have to sweep the floors at least three times a day just to keep it from piling up. We sell to local distributors who take our matches all over the region. It’s honest work. We don’t have a marketing department or a sales team in suits. If people need matches, they know where to find us. We just keep the production going as long as there is a demand. It’s a steady life on East Street, and we don't have many complaints about how things are going. The sun gets really hot in the afternoon, so we try to finish the heavy lifting before noon.
