Our office is situated in Ettiyanoor, which is in the Ns Reddiur post area of Dharmapuri. It is a rural setting, quite different from the busy city hubs. The office is a modest building that we have used for some time now. The pin code is 636804. Being in this part of Tamil Nadu means the surroundings are often green and the air is a bit fresher, though it still gets very hot. The office itself is quite basic with stone floors and high ceilings. We have a few old fans that hum all day long. Most of our furniture is made of heavy wood, the kind that lasts forever. We keep the project ledgers and site diaries in locked cabinets to keep the dust off them. The road outside is not very busy, so it is usually quiet except for the occasional tractor or bus passing by. We have a small water tank out back for washing up. The staff mostly comes from the nearby towns. We spend our mornings going over the site requirements and our afternoons dealing with the local suppliers. There isn't any fancy tech here, just the essentials to get the job done. We are part of the local community here, and everyone knows why we are in the area. It is a slow and steady kind of place where we just focus on the engineering work at hand without any unnecessary complications.
