Assistante Engineer

My workspace is right here at 20 Anjeneyar Koil Street in Dharmapuri. I’ve been set up here for a long time now. My name is Anand Babu, and I work as an Assistante Engineer, mostly handling local projects that need a steady hand. The house is where I live and work, which makes things easy and difficult at the same time. The street is pretty narrow, and because of the temple nearby, there’s always someone walking past or some activity going on. I have a small room dedicated to my work where I keep my drafting tools and my old computer. It’s not a big corporate office with a lobby. If you want to talk to me, you just come to the door. Dharmapuri is a nice town, and being a local here means I know most of the people I work with. I spend my days checking on site progress or sitting at my desk trying to figure out technical problems. The furniture is all mismatched, and I have stacks of paper everywhere, but I know where every single document is. It’s a very practical way to live and work. I don’t believe in having a polished image just for the sake of it. I’d rather just do the engineering work correctly and let that speak for itself. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and I like the rhythm of it. Being an engineer in Dharmapuri keeps me busy enough and I wouldn't have it any other way really.
