Ashirwad Traders (Jivraj Park)

Ashirwad Traders (Jivraj Park) is our small business. We are located at 2/18, Nadur, in the B-Thurinjipatti area. It’s near Bommidi. This is a more rural spot compared to the big cities. We deal with trading various goods that the local people need. The building is a simple one, and we use a part of it for storage. It’s often just one or two of us around. We don't have a big sign with lights, just a small painted board. Life out here in Nadur is a bit slower, which we don't mind. We get to know the people we are dealing with on a personal level. It’s not just about the money; it’s about being part of the community. Sometimes the roads out here get pretty muddy when it rains, making it hard for the trucks to get through. We just wait for it to dry up. We keep our books by hand mostly, though we have a small computer now for some of the bigger stuff. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don’t have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to provide what’s needed and make enough to keep the lights on. It’s been this way for a long time. People know where to find us if they need something. We're usually there early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We close for lunch and usually sit under the big tree out back for a bit of shade.
