Ganodiya Paints

Our shop is right on Udaipur Road, directly opposite Subhash Park. It is a good spot because people usually spend time walking through the park and then they see our sign across the street. We have heaps of paint cans stacked up everywhere inside. Sometimes it is honestly hard to find a place to sit because we use every bit of floor space for the stock. The road outside gets quite busy with cars and bikes heading into the main part of town. We spend a lot of time mixing different colors and talking to people about what they might need for their houses or shops. It is a messy job sometimes. You can usually see some paint splatters on our clothes or hands by the end of the day. Subhash Park is a nice view to have across the way, even if we are mostly looking at the traffic moving back and forth. We have been on Udaipur Road for a long time now. Local people know they can just drop in whenever they need something. We don't do anything fancy with the store layout or the way we display things. It is just shelves and counters and a lot of heavy lifting with the big buckets. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it can get a bit warm. We keep the doors open to catch the breeze. Most people around here know us as the place across from the park trees.
