About Shri Kumaran Cement – Building & Construction Material in Dharapuram
If you decide to come down to 5/126 in Annanagar, you will see our place easily enough by the side of the road. We handle a lot of heavy cement bags here in Mulanur and it is quite a lot of hard work for us. Most of the day is spent lifting and stacking things so they stay organized in the back. My clothes usually have a bit of grey dust on them by noon, but you just get used to that after working here for a week or two. The yard we have isn't particularly huge, so when a big delivery truck pulls in to drop off a load, things can get pretty tight for space. We have to move quickly to get the bags under the roof if it looks like some rain might start falling. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, except for when the heavy vehicles are idling outside on the street. I have been working at this spot for a while now and the daily routine mostly stays the same. We wake up early, check the stock levels, and then wait for the local builders or just regular guys fixing up their own houses to come by. The floor is made of solid concrete and it stays relatively cool even when it is very hot outside. Sometimes we sit on the edge of the loading platform and just watch the traffic go by for a few minutes. We don't have a big office or any fancy desks, just a small corner with a ledger and a pen.
