Being near the Light House means we get a bit of that sea breeze when the wind is right. We are over at No. 17 Seera Sahib Street. It’s an old neighborhood, and the streets are a bit narrow, so getting big trucks in and out for F & F Exports can be a real headache sometimes. My cousin and I started this because we knew a bit about moving goods. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys just shuffling papers or talking on the phone with the shipping agents. It gets pretty humid here, especially in the afternoons. We just keep the windows open and hope for a draft. The office is just a couple of rooms filled with files and some old computers. We do our exports from here and don't really worry about making the place look like a showroom. People in the area know us as the guys who are always busy with boxes. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is due at the docks, and the street gets real quiet then. You can hear the distant sounds from the beach. It’s a simple life, honestly. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the orders get out. It’s a lot of double-checking addresses and hoping the weather stays clear for the ships. It is just the way we have always done things.
