Meher Jain & Co. is based out of a building called Arihant on Jawahar Road. We’re in Dharangaon, which is a place we’ve called home for a long time. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or expensive carpets. It’s just a place where we sit and get through the daily work. Jawahar Road gets quite a bit of activity, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We handle a lot of different things for the local people here. Most of it involves paperwork and making sure things are filed correctly. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s necessary and we’ve gotten pretty decent at it over the years. We like the fact that we are easy to reach. You don't need an appointment weeks in advance or anything like that. If we’re in, the door is usually open. We’ve known many of our visitors for years, and some are even our neighbors. Dharangaon has its own pace, and we fit right into that. We aren't looking to expand into a big corporation. We just want to keep doing what we’re doing right here in Arihant. It’s a comfortable routine for us. We drink a lot of tea and stay busy with the files. That’s pretty much the whole story of our office. Simple, honest, and right in the middle of town. We just keep our heads down and work.
