Hotel Asian Plaza

Our hotel is right in the Main Square of Mcleodganj. If you have been here, you know it is the heart of everything. There is always someone walking by, and the sound of the town is always present. We have been running this place for a while and it is a lot of work keeping everything clean and ready. We spend our mornings checking the rooms and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. It is not a five-star luxury resort, but it is a solid place to stay. We see all kinds of travelers from all over the world. Some are here for the temples and others just want to hike. We handle the bookings and try to help people find their way around the narrow streets. The square is a noisy, vibrant place and we are right there in the mix. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage that. It is just part of living in the mountains. We don't have a big staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From carrying bags to fixing a leaky tap, there is always something to do. We like to sit by the window when it is quiet and look at the hills. It is a simple life but it keeps us on our feet. We just try to be helpful and keep the rooms tidy for the next person who comes in. It is how we do things here at Hotel Asian Plaza.
