Fashion Creation

Fashion Creation sits right across from the Four Mile Banquet Hall. That’s usually how we tell people to find us, otherwise they might drive right past the entrance. When there is a big wedding or a party at the hall, the whole street gets blocked up with cars and music. It makes things lively, even if it’s hard to find parking for our own deliveries. Our shop is a bit smaller than people expect when they hear the name. We focus on making clothes, doing all the cutting and sewing right here in the back room. There’s always a pile of scrap fabric near the bins and the sound of heavy scissors cutting through cloth. We don’t have any polished displays or mannequins in the window. Mostly, it’s just us working at the wooden tables. I’ve been in this trade for a long time, and I don’t see much point in the fancy stuff. People come to us because they need things made, and they know we are usually here from early morning until late evening. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. It's a busy life, especially when several orders come in at once and we have to stay late. We don't really do missions or big statements. We just try to finish the work so we can move on to the next pile of fabric. It's a simple way to earn a living.
