Visalaxchi Cocunut Industry

The coconut industry we run is located at S. F. No. 20/9 in Chickkamarandahalli village. It’s in the Palacode area, and our post comes through Marandahalli. If you drive out here, you will see it’s a very rural spot, surrounded by fields and a lot of trees. Visalaxchi Cocunut Industry is basically a large outdoor workspace where we handle all the coconuts that come in from the local farms. There are piles of husks everywhere and the smell of fresh coconut is always in the air. It’s hard work, mostly involving a lot of physical labor like de-husking and drying. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy offices out here. We work under the sheds to stay out of the rain or the harsh sun. The ground is usually covered in coconut fiber and bits of shell. It’s a noisy place when the machines are running, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the village. We’ve been in Chickkamarandahalli for a long time and everyone around here knows what we do. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just deal with the people who come to the gate or the traders who pick up the loads. It’s a simple, tough business, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. The village life is slow, but the work here at 20/9 is always moving.
