Oxeia Foods

We are based in Kantabanji, right on the Main Road in Plangir district. Oxeia Foods is a local operation where we deal with different food products. The Main Road is always busy with carts and trucks, so there’s a lot of noise outside our front door. We spend most of our time in the back where we store the stock. It’s a practical workspace, not a fancy showroom. We have to be careful with the storage because the weather here can get very hot, and you don’t want food items spoiling. We’ve got a few workers from the local village who help us out with the packing and the loading. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now. We don't really do much online, most people just come to the Main Road if they want to talk to us. We’ve lived in Plangir all our lives, so we know how things work around here. Sometimes the supply trucks are late because of the road conditions, but we just manage as best we can. It’s an honest way to make a living. We focus on checking the quality of everything that comes through our doors. If something isn't right, we don't sell it. Our shop is just a regular place where we get the work done without much fuss. We try to stay organized even when things get a little chaotic during the busy harvest seasons.
