Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd.

We are out in Sector-3 of Pithampur. Specifically, we occupy Plot No.401, 402, and 413 in Unit-Iii. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the pumps and parts. Pithampur is an industrial hub, so it’s all trucks and warehouses around here. Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the landscape. The plots are connected, so there’s a lot of walking between the different sections. It’s noisy because of the machinery, but you get used to it after the first week. We have a lot of people working across the different units. It gets busy during the shipping hours. There’s no air conditioning in the main factory areas, just big open doors to let the air in. We focus on getting the pumps ready and out the door. The office part is tucked away in one corner. It’s where the paperwork happens. We don’t have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and technicians. Pithampur can be a bit isolated, but we have everything we need on-site. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations. A few calendars on the wall and some old photos is about all we have. It’s a working man’s place. We just get on with it every day at Shakti Pumps. Every morning starts the same way with the gates opening and the shifts starting. That is the way we like it.
