Ram Lal & Sons

Ram Lal & Sons has been in the Main Market on Dhar Road for as long as I can remember. We are in Ward No.5, right near the SBI Bank. If you see the long line at the ATM, you are close to our shop. This was my father's place, and now we all work here together. It is a family thing. The shop is packed with all sorts of items. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit dusty, especially when the wind blows through the market. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few old fans that creak a lot. Our customers are mostly regulars from the surrounding blocks. They come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We know most people's names and what they usually need. It is a busy market, so there is always some noise or someone shouting outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The inventory is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is located. You just have to ask. We aren't much for decorations or advertising. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun. It doesn't matter much because people know we are here. It is just a traditional shop trying to keep going in a changing town. We take our Sundays off to rest.
