Gautam International Academy

We are located at Gautam’s Point, right along the Dhar-Indore Highway in Jetpura. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by. It’s a big building, and you can’t really miss it if you’re driving toward Dhar. Most of our day is spent trying to keep the kids focused while the traffic rolls past outside. The rooms are fairly large, which is nice when it gets hot in the afternoons. We don’t really have a lot of extra decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students make in class. The teachers here mostly live nearby and come in early to beat the heat. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a playground that gets used a lot during the breaks, though it’s mostly just dirt and some grass. Parents pull up in their cars or on bikes at the main gate every morning. It can get a bit chaotic at 8:00 AM, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the most modern place in the world, we just want to make sure there are enough books and that the roof doesn't leak during the monsoon. It’s just a regular school in a busy part of the state. We’ve been here for a bit now and people in Jetpura know us. Every day is pretty much the same, with the same bell ringing and the same lessons being taught. You can see the highway lights shimmering from the classrooms as the sun starts to go down.
