Garima Hospital

Garima Hospital is out in Mangal Nagar, which is in the Dhar Distriict part of Indore. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of the city, but it’s a growing area. The hospital building is a solid, square structure. We have a lot of space compared to some of the clinics in the city. The lobby has several rows of plastic chairs and a big desk for the administrative staff. We handle a lot of different medical issues here. In the mornings, the sun comes through the front windows and lights up the whole entrance. It can get pretty busy with people coming from the surrounding villages in Dhar. We have a parking area that gets quite dusty when the wind picks up. Inside, the floors are kept clean, but you can tell the building has been used a lot. There are marks on the walls from stretchers and equipment being moved around. The staff wears blue or green scrubs and they’re usually in a hurry. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just some notices about health and safety. It’s a hardworking place. We deal with emergencies and routine checkups alike. Most days are predictable, but sometimes we get a rush of patients all at once. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a straightforward, local hospital for the people out here.
