Ams Engineering

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 227 in Rajkumar Nagar, right along Dhar Road. If you see the SBI ATM, you're pretty much there. It’s an engineering place, so there’s usually a bit of noise from the machines running during the day. We handle a lot of different metal jobs and repairs for people in the neighborhood and some bigger projects too. It’s mostly just us working with lathes and welding gear. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, which is just part of the job I guess. We aren't really the type to sit in an office all day. Most of the time we're out on the floor getting our hands dirty. People bring in broken parts or sketches of things they want made, and we see what we can do. It’s a small operation, but we’ve been at this spot for a good bit of time now. The traffic on Dhar Road can be a headache sometimes, but being near the ATM makes it easy for folks to find us. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sales team. It’s just straightforward engineering work. We try to get things done right the first time so people don't have to keep coming back for the same fix. It’s a busy life, but we like the challenge of figuring out how to make things work again and seeing a finished piece of metal leave the shop.
