Disha Earthmovers

Our office is near the railway station on Iskcon Ambli Road. We are quite close to SG Road too, which is where all the big development is happening these days. Since we work with earthmovers and heavy machinery, being near the big roads is useful for us at Disha Earthmovers. The yard is often full of big yellow machines and the smell of diesel. It is a loud environment when the engines are running. We spend a lot of time on site or talking to operators over the phone. The office itself is just a place to park the trucks and do the basic paperwork that needs finishing. It gets muddy when it rains, and we are always cleaning the floor from the boots coming in and out. We are a small crew. We do not have any polished sales pitches or expensive suits. Usually, someone just calls because they have a hole that needs digging or some land that needs clearing for a new project. We have seen this part of the city grow so much lately. There used to be nothing out here but open space, and now it is all buildings. We just keep moving the dirt and maintaining the equipment. It is practical work for people who do not mind getting their hands dirty. You can find us by the tracks.
