Utility Powertech Limited is where we spend our days, specifically over in the Hetlibandh area of Jharia. This is coal country, so everything has a bit of that Dhanbad grit to it. We’re located near the New Little Flower spot. My father, Shri J.S. Singh, was well known around here, and I’m just carrying on with the work. The air is heavy, and there’s always a truck rumbling past the office. We don't have a lot of time for formalities. Usually, someone walks in with a problem, and we figure out who is free to go take a look. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. Our office is simple, just enough room for the files and a place to sit. We’ve been part of the Jharia landscape for quite a while now. You get used to the pace of the mining and power sectors here. It’s not the kind of job you do if you’re afraid of getting your hands dirty. We just show up, do what needs doing, and try to keep things moving. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and we’re just another part of the story, helping out with the technical stuff that keeps the electricity flowing to where it’s needed most.
