We are based over in Dhanbad, specifically in the Manaitand area. If you can find the SBI Colony, then you are basically right there. Even though our official name says Jamshedpur, this is the spot where we do the work for this part of Jharkhand. It is a very busy area. Dhanbad always has that high-energy, coal-town feel, and Manaitand is definitely no exception to that. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a practical space where we handle the daily grind. We have been here for a good while. The desks are a bit worn down at the edges and there is always a huge stack of papers that needs sorting through. We don’t do anything fancy here. Most of our day involves talking to various vendors and making sure the supply chain doesn’t have any issues. It can get really loud outside with all the traffic, but we have all gotten used to it. We usually take our lunch breaks together, often grabbing something quick from a stall nearby. There is no big corporate hierarchy here that you would notice. We all just pitch in whenever something needs fixing. If the printer jams, one of us deals with it. If a delivery is running late, we all scramble to find out why. It is a very hands-on environment. The neighborhood is okay and full of people moving about. We have become a bit of a fixture here over the years. We just focus on getting the steel business handled.
