Suvroto Kirana Store

Suvroto Kirana Store is right on Barwadda Road in the Dhaiya area of Dhanbad. We are located near Rani Bandh and are also quite close to the Indian School of Mines. This means we get a mix of students, professors, and local residents coming through our doors. The 826004 area is a busy part of town. Our shop is a traditional kirana store, so it is filled with sacks of grains and rows of jars. We don't have any fancy displays or a website. It is just a place where you can come and get your daily groceries. We spend most of our time at the counter, weighing out items and chatting with whoever stops by. The traffic on Barwadda Road is constant, so it can get a little noisy inside the store. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just try to provide what the community needs. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the delivery trucks arrive, as we have to move things around to make space. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now. It’s a lot of work to keep everything organized, but we enjoy being a part of the daily life here in Dhaiya. If you are passing by Rani Bandh, you will see us right there on the main road. We are usually around if you need to pick up some oil, sugar, or lentils for your dinner tonight. We close up late so people can finish their shopping.
