The office is exactly what you would expect for a firm in Jharkhand. It is full of paper. We have stacks of files on every surface because there is always some new case or document to deal with. It is a small team here. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. People walk in from the street with all sorts of questions about their legal or business problems. We sit down and listen. Chirkunda is a busy town, and Dharamshala Road is always buzzing with activity. We do not have a website or a fancy logo. Most of our work comes from people who have known Subhash for years. It is a very personal way of doing things. We spend a lot of time reading through old records and writing out letters. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows and keep working by the sunlight. It is a bit slow-paced compared to the big cities, but we like it that way. We are just local associates doing our bit for the community here. There is no corporate polish, just plain talk and hard work. We finish up in the evening and head home to our families.
