This side of Dhanbad, specifically in Jharia, is where you’ll find our marketing setup. It’s basically run out of the place belonging to Shri Jagannath Mishra’s son. Jharia is a tough place to work sometimes, what with the coal fields and the general busyness of the town, but we’ve made a decent spot for ourselves here. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk; mostly we are just talking to local traders and figuring out who needs what supplies for the week. The address might seem a bit specific, but in a place like this, everyone knows the landmarks and the family names more than the actual street numbers. We deal with various marketing tasks every day, mostly just making sure things get from one point to another without too much trouble. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and the local markets, but we are used to the noise by now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, very small scale, just focusing on our little corner of Jharkhand. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get blocked, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just wake up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings in terms of orders and people stopping by for a chat about their business.
