Shri General Store

Shri General Store is over in the Kusunda area of Dhanbad. We are located on Bank More Road, which is pretty much always busy with traffic. I spend almost all of my day here at the shop. It is a very basic general store. We carry things like soap, biscuits, and some local snacks that people like. Nothing fancy at all. I moved to this part of town years ago and this store has been my main focus since then. The building is a bit on the older side, but it does what it needs to do. People from around the neighborhood usually stop by on their way to work or when they realize they have run out of something like sugar or tea. I try to keep everything in stock but sometimes I forget to order things until a customer asks for them. That is just how it goes when you are running a small place by yourself. The 828116 area is quite a noisy place. You get used to the sound of the big trucks passing by all day. I have a small stool behind the counter for when things slow down. Usually, there is someone coming in though. I do not use any computers for the bills, just a simple notebook and a blue pen. It works fine for what we need. Sometimes I have to hunt around for an item if it got moved. It is a simple life.
