Sharma Amul Parlour

If you go toward the Vdo Office in Chiragora, you’ll find us there. Being in Dhanbad, the summers are really something, so having an Amul parlour makes sense. We sell a lot of milk, curd, and of course, ice cream when it gets really hot. It’s a small shop, nothing too big. We are right in the same area as some other local businesses. Most people know the Vdo Office, so finding us isn't hard at all. We spend a lot of time making sure the refrigerators are running right because nobody wants melted ice cream. It’s a steady job. We see the same faces every morning coming for their milk packets. Sometimes we have a chat, sometimes they are in a rush. That is just how it goes here. The evening time is when the kids show up after school wanting treats. It gets a bit loud then, but it’s nice to see them. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here. The location in Chiragora is convenient for the people living in the government quarters and nearby houses. We keep the shop clean and try to have enough stock so we don't run out of the popular flavors. It is just a regular part of the day for us, serving the community and keeping things cold in this Dhanbad heat, and we hope to stay right here by the Vdo Office for a long time.
