Samradhjeevan Sanchya Nidhi Limited is located right over at 191 Karamatand. We are pretty close to the BCCL Colliery in Dugda, so there is always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of trucks moving in the distance. It’s a busy industrial kind of area, but our office stays fairly calm inside. We’ve set ourselves up here because this is where the people live and work. You won’t find any marble floors or air conditioning that freezes you out. It’s just a honest place where we keep the books and help folks manage their small bits of savings. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask about something they heard in the village. We try to keep the door open to let a breeze in when it’s not too dusty outside. The building itself is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We spend the mornings getting the paperwork sorted and then the afternoons are mostly spent talking to people who stop by after their shift at the colliery. It’s a straightforward way of working. No one here is trying to be something they aren't. We just know the local area and the people who live in Karamatand. We’ve been at this for a while now and most people know exactly where to find us when they need to settle their accounts.
