Rajan General Store

Rajan General Store is located on Mithu Road, right in the Bank More area of Dhanbad. It is a very central part of the city, so there is never a dull moment around here. We are just a few steps away from the main Bank More junction. Our shop is a small, practical place where we keep all the things a household needs. We have snacks, cold drinks, cleaning supplies, and some basic stationery too. It is the kind of store where you can find a needle or a large bag of flour in the same trip. We’ve been operating here for a long time and have seen Dhanbad change quite a bit. The dust from the coal area sometimes reaches here, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and packets. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. People know us by our name and our location. The shop can get a bit cramped when we get a fresh delivery of crates, but we clear it out soon enough. We like the bustle of Mithu Road. Dealing with different customers all day keeps us busy and the time goes by fast. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on keeping our shelves full and helping the people who live and work nearby. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this busy town. We don't need much more than that to stay happy.
