Radha Krishna

Radha Krishna is the name of our small place here in Dhansar. We are right on Jora Phatak Road, not too far from Shakti Mandir. The location is 828106 and it's a part of Dhanbad that never really stays quiet for long. I spend most of my day behind the counter. The shop has a lot of different items, mostly things you’d need for your house or a quick meal. I didn't want to make it look like those fancy stores in the big malls. It’s just regular shelves and some boxes on the floor. Sometimes a stray dog sits near the door to get some shade. I don't mind it. The weather in Dhanbad gets really hot, so the fan inside runs all day long. It makes a bit of a clicking noise but we're used to it by now. People come in asking for things I might have tucked away in a back corner. I usually find what they need after a bit of searching. Working near Shakti Mandir means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to the temple. It’s a good spot to be. I don't have a big staff, it's mostly just family helping out when things get busy. We keep it simple and try to make sure we don’t run out of the basics like milk or bread. That’s really all there is to it.
