About Project Assistant – Metals & Minerals in Dhanbad
I’m currently set up in room E-201 over at the Sapphire Hostel in Dhanbad. It’s part of the ISMU campus, so it’s usually pretty lively with students and people moving around. Being a project assistant here means I spend a lot of my time handling the smaller details that everyone else forgets. My desk is usually covered in notes and little lists. Jharkhand can get pretty hot, so the room is where most of the work happens. It isn't a big corporate office, just a workspace where I keep track of things. I make sure the numbers match up and the emails get sent out on time. Sometimes I have to run across campus to find someone. It’s a simple setup. I focus on helping out wherever the project needs a bit of extra support. Living and working in the same place has its challenges, but it works for now. You get used to the noise of the hostel after a while. I just try to stay organized so nothing slips through the cracks. It's mostly about keeping the day-to-day stuff moving forward without too much fuss. I don't need a lot of space to get things sorted. Just my computer and a good connection. Sometimes the power flickers but we manage to get everything recorded anyway. It is just a regular life here in Dhanbad, keeping things on track.
