Prabhatam Buildwell Ltd.

Our office is situated on Barwadda Road over in the Dhaiya area of Dhanbad. We are pretty close to Po.-Nagnagar, which is a busy part of town with a lot of trucks passing by all day. Being in the construction business here at Prabhatam Buildwell Ltd. means dealing with a lot of dust and the heat of the coal belt. We spend our days mostly looking at blueprints or checking on the progress of various building sites around the district. The office isn't anything special, just a functional space with some old furniture and walls covered in project maps. We have a lot of people dropping by, from masons looking for work to suppliers wanting to sell us cement and steel. It gets quite loud because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been operating out of this location for a good bit of time and know most of the local vendors in the area. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit there in the dark waiting for the generator to kick in so we can finish the payroll. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. There’s always a lot of mud on the floor from people coming in from the sites, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We try to keep things moving along so that the projects don't get stuck during the monsoon.
