Power Mech

We are located at A-12 on the first floor in Islampur, Bihar. Power Mech is just a small outfit operating in this part of India. The office is right above some local shops so there is always a lot of shouting and activity downstairs. We have a few rooms where we keep our ledgers and some spare parts. It is not the most modern office you will ever see but it works for what we need. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep so you have to be careful when you are carrying things up. We usually have the windows open to let in some air even if it brings in a bit of dust from the street. Being in Islampur means we are quite far from the big cities but we like the pace here. We do a lot of mechanical work for the local area and the nearby farms. Most of the staff comes from the surrounding villages. We eat lunch together in the main room and talk about the news or the weather. There is a lot of hard work involved and our hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the shift. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us by word of mouth or they see our sign on the balcony. It is a simple life and we just try to do an honest day of work without making a big fuss about it.
