Pintu General Store

We have been running Pintu General Store here in Koriband for quite some time now. It is a simple place, right near Satmodwa in Jharia. Most days start early because that is when people want their milk and bread before heading off to work. We carry a bit of everything, like soap, tea leaves, and different types of lentils. It is not a huge supermarket, but we try to keep the things people in this neighborhood actually use. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy when we are busy, but we manage. Jharia can be a dusty place with all the coal work around, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down the counters and jars. My family stays nearby, and usually, someone is always at the shop from morning until late evening. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. It's just a basic shop where you can get your daily stuff without much fuss. A lot of the regular customers have been coming here for years, so we know what they need as soon as they walk in. If we don't have something, we try to get it by the next day. The location is easy to find if you know where Satmodwa is. It gets a bit loud outside during the festival seasons, but that is just how life is here in Dhanbad. We just keep doing our work every day and hope the stock stays full for everyone who stops by.
