Das Designs

Down in Mohan Bazar Patherdih, things are always moving. Das Designs is tucked away in the middle of all that noise and activity. It’s a small space, mostly filled with samples and scraps from whatever we were working on last. We spend a lot of time just trying to figure out what people want when they come in. Sometimes they have a clear idea, and other times we have to sketch things out on whatever paper is lying around. The shop gets dusty because of the road outside, so we’re always cleaning. We’ve been in Patherdih long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight-knit community, even if it’s loud. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors or walk in while they’re doing their shopping at the bazaar. We stay late most nights to finish orders, especially when there’s a deadline coming up. It can be stressful, but we prefer being busy. The light in the shop isn't the best, but we make it work. Every project is a bit different, which keeps it from getting boring. We don't make any grand promises about changing the world. We just make designs that people need for their daily lives or businesses. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to be part of the local scene here in the bazaar. It's just us.
