National Metallurgical Laboratory

Our office is located over in the C.F.R.I. Colony here in Dhanbad. We’re in Quarter Number III/47, and most people know us through Mr. V.K. Srivastava who handles things at this address. It’s a quiet residential colony, so it doesn’t feel like a typical government lab or a big industrial site. We do a lot of work related to metals and metallurgy, but from the administrative side here in the colony. The space is a bit small, with desks and shelves filled with papers and files that have been around for years. We spend our days tracking data and making sure the laboratory records are in order. Living and working in the same area means we’re always around, even on weekends sometimes. The neighborhood is full of trees and it’s a nice place to walk around when we need a break from the paperwork. We don’t have a big staff here, just a few of us who know the routine inside and out. It’s a very practical way of doing things. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of mail or new reports coming in, but we manage. Being in the F.R.I. post office area makes it easy for us to send and receive everything we need for the lab work. It’s just a simple, honest setup where we focus on getting the details right without any extra fluff or fancy equipment in the office itself. We've been here for a good while now and the locals know where to find us.
